Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA) can be reached via a number of routes, usually via Johannesburg (South Africa), Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Nairobi (Kenya) or of course Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe. Please check online or with your local travel agency for the most convenient travel options suited to your needs.
Victoria Falls town is about 20 km from the airport.
Taxis are readily available at the airport and will cost around US$30-US$40, but this is open to negotiation and is good option if there are three or four persons needing transportation together. Only cash payment is accepted.
Several companies (e.g Shearwater, Wild horizons, Adventure Zone, Falcon Safaris) offer a meet and greet airport service for about US$14 per person. The shuttle bus will stop at various hotels to drop off passengers. This service needs to be organised in advance.
The conference will be held at the Elephant Hills Hotel (see Venue).
It is recommended that delegates stay at the Elephant Hills Hotel, the conference venue (see Venue and Accommodation). The hotel is slightly out of town and it will be more practical to stay onsite. However, Victoria Falls has a wide range of hotels with different price categories (see Destination Info). Delegates are free to book at the hotel of their choice but will have to arrange their own transport to and from the conference venue.

VISIT TO THE TOBACCO RESEARCH BOARD IN HARARE
The Tobacco Research Board invites to all delegates to the AP 2019 Conference who will be passing through Harare to take some time to visit Kutsaga Research Station. Kutsaga is one of TRB’s three stations and is situated in Harare, two minutes from the Robert Mugabe International airport. See the "Social Events" page for more information.
